MARKETING & COMMUNICATION INTERNSHIP

  • Program Overview_
The Marketing and Communication internship program offers a great learning experience in the field of marketing and communication.

This program is designed to provide interns with practical skills and knowledge in strategic communication, brand management, digital marketing, and campaign development.

Intern will work closely with experienced professionals on real-world projects, contributing to the organization's marketing and communication efforts, while gaining valuable industry insights.

Program Objectives


  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of marketing and communication principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Gain practical skills in market research, target audience analysis, and brand management.
  • Learn to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns across different channels.
  • Acquire proficiency in digital marketing tools
  • Understand the importance of data analysis and measurement in evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall marketing strategy of the organization.

Program Elements

Onboarding:
Intern will receive onboarding sessions to familiarize with the organization's mission, values, and current marketing and communication initiatives. She/he will also be introduced to mentor/s and assigned supervisor/s.

Project Assignments:
Intern will be assigned to specific projects related to marketing and communication.

She/he will work closely with her/his supervisor/s and cross-functional teams to contribute to the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns.


Performance Evaluation:
Intern will undergo periodic performance evaluations to assess their progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback. This evaluation process will help intern track development and make the most of this internship experience

Networking Opportunities:

Intern will have opportunities to interact with professionals from different departments within the organization, attend team meetings, and participate in networking events.

These interactions will broaden her/his professional network and provide valuable insights into different aspects of marketing and communication.

Final Presentation:

At the end of the internship program, the intern will deliver a final presentation summarizing projects, learnings to the organization's management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in deploying omnichannel marketing campaigns through various channels (online & offline, paid, owned, earned, shared) that contribute to add qualified leads to the sales pipeline and generate revenue. Ensure efficient preparation, planning and execution in close collaboration with the Marketing organization and the Sales team.
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring brand building activities as well as communication activities (promotions, web activities, sales collateral) supporting new product launches and growth areas identified in the local business plan for the respective sales cluster (Italy, Middle East and South-Africa)
  • Organize and deploy several internal and customer events (including digital and F2F events).
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)

  • Educational Background: degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field are preferred.
