THE POSITION MAY EITHER BE BASED IN TREVISO OR MUNICH

Ensures consistent strategic sourcing activities, globally for assigned material category, and in coordination with Corporate and BU Procurement.

Contributes to global category strategy, and designs specific assigned supplier guidelines and procedures.

Optimizes procurement process efficiency, and methods and tools used.

Sets and monitors functional targets for assigned unit.

Contributes to superior budget development, proposes unitsacute; budget and decides on allocation. Defines commodity structure and organization.

Strategically manages and optimizes the supply network (pooled materials).

Initiates, coordinates and monitors demand pooling measures and programs.

Initiates target cost reduction programs and coordinates, plans and controls material contribution to EBIT.

Implements globally consistent supplier management programs (including scouting, qualification, selection and operations management). Implements category specific benchmarking and best practice sharing with the regional organizations. Implements consistent negotiation strategies to maximize savings. Leads team(s) of regional or segment related Procurement Professionals.

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

Understanding of Principles of Sourcing Strategy and Supply Chain Management
Preferable experience in Electronics Industry
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. Preferable basic work experience as a supervisor.

Preferable experience in different countries/ cultures and intercultural behavior with situational sensitivity.
