Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life - enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

We provide our teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while taking science a step beyond through research, development and delivery of life-changing therapies.

With clinical trials conducted in 100+ countries and ongoing development of novel frameworks for clinical research through our PPD clinical research portfolio, our work spans laboratory, digital and decentralized clinical trial services.

Your determination to deliver quality and accuracy will improve health outcomes that people and communities depend on - now and in the future.

Location/Division Specific Information:

Our utility research team is a well-known leader in the field of health state utility estimation, with numerous published studies and a history of deriving utilities that have been used in successful HTA submissions.

We offer a wide range of utility methods, including vignette-based studies for situations when generic preference-based measures are not sensitive or feasible.

In 2021, we published the first guidance on methods for vignette-based utility studies in Value in Health.

The team has also developed utility scoring algorithms for established PRO instruments and item banks such as the Neuro-QoL (recently published in Medical Decision Making).

Other types of utility studies include administration of the EQ-5D to estimate utilities of specific populations (particularly patients with rare diseases), psychometric validation of utility measures, and qualitative studies to examine content validity of utility measures.

In addition, the utility team frequently provides consultation on use of utilities in cost-effectiveness modeling and HTA submissions, including development of strategic documents that can be used worldwide.

You would be joining a successful, innovative, enthusiastic team of outcomes researchers specializing in health statue utility valuation. We have developed an innovative, collaborative culture. We are looking for someone who will thrive in this environment.

We understand that health state utility research fits into the broader field of health outcomes, and all members of the team also work on other types of projects beyond utility studies, such as PRO instrument development, qualitative work with patients, and clinician surveys.

If you are interested, you would also have the opportunity to work on these other types of studies. In addition, we work closely with colleagues from the Evidera Modelling and Simulation group, who develop cost-utility models. If you are interested, you could have opportunities to work on their studies as well.

Position Location:
The role offers 100% remote flexibility.

Discover Impactful Work:
