Domus Academy


Domus Academy was set up in Milan in 1982 as one the first postgraduate design school in Italy and as an open project revolving around the experience of Italian design and fashion.

Over the years, it has established itself as a school in the full sense of the term:
a place for postgraduate training and a research laboratory on the themes of innovation and design.


The courses on offer at the academy include 12 Master's programs attended by students from around the world in the field of design, fashion, service and experience design, and business design.


Domus Academy is looking for:

SHORT TERM PROGRAMMES ASSISTANT (for Arabic speaking students)
We are looking for an Arab and English speaking assistant (Italian language knowledge appreciated) to provide logístical and practical support on campus to groups of students from Saudi Arabia that will be attending short training courses at Domus Academy in the periods of June, July and September 2023


Key responsibilities include:


  • Welcome students upon arrival
  • Show them Domus Academy facilities and campus
  • Accompany them to the campus cafeteria for lunch
  • Help students with translation if needed
  • Provide assistance with practical issues connected with the training course or with adapting to a new environment on a daily basis
  • Provide support and advice on things to do and places to visit in Milan in their free time
  • Accompany the students during field trips included in the course schedule
  • Be present in class all the time during lectures/workshops to support the course teachers
  • Be the students' main reference point for any issues and the contact point with Domus Academy staff

Requirements:


  • Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English language
  • Italian language knowledge appreciated
  • Domicile in Milan
- background in the arts and design field will be a plus

  • Valid residency permit is a requirement

Conditions:

P. IVA Contract for the months of June, July and September

Contratto di lavoro:
Tempo pieno, Contratto con partita IVA


Orario:

  • Dal lunedì al venerdì

  • Italiano non richiesto
