We are seeking a
Tender Specialist (M/F/d) based in Rome reporting to the
Operations Project Manager.

This role supports a newly acquired commercial group in Europe focused on sales of products to surgeons in the operating room.

We are looking to recruit an entrepreneurial, ambitious and hardworking business professional with expertise in tenders management with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry who has passion for identifying new business,

What You will do

  • Monitor calls for tenders for our Italian market.
  • Understand and implement different administrative regional requirements.
  • Notify sales representatives of any new tender opportunities and follow up on them.
  • Study the Terms and Conditions of each Invitation, work with commercial for pricing and strategy, assess potential risks for the company and submit them for an internal opinion if required.
  • Coordinate necessary tasks and send the offers within the required deadlines and in accordance with the rules of the tender/offer/negotiated procedure.
  • Notify sales of contracts won, lost, and deadlines to anticipate their renewal.
  • Ensure establishment and followup of contractual documents (amendments, agreements, contracts, Tenders).
  • Within the Sales Department, the resource will be included in the Customer Service team and will take care of Customer management for the reference market.
  • Manage the distribution of these documents, their classification, and archiving.
  • Process complaints, investigate/resolve problems related to the daytoday administration of tenders and contracts.
  • Keep our tender database up to date in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate with EMEA Operations Team.

What you will need

  • Degree in legal / economic sciences or equivalent education.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience working within
    Pharma and
    medical device industry.
  • More than 3 years of public tender and contract or project management experience.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Ability to work on complex documents, and to assess the consistency, quality and compliance of tenders and contracts.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Legal background is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player in an international environment.
  • Rigor, respect for deadlines, sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and acquire new skills.
  • Adaptability to change and solution oriented.
