Mission:

Under the responsibility of the Head of Region or the Head of Country to whom he/she reports, the Auditor Supervisor:

is in charge of performing the risk assessment on the scope assigned or contributes to it

- contributes to elaborating the audit plan
- contributes to planning and staffing assignments

Tasks and responsibilities:

Having regular internal contacts with IGAD management (Head of zone, Head of Region, Business Correspondent, IGAD transversal functions)
Having regular contacts with the management of auditees during the assignment and the risk assessment
Ensuring the quality of the audit works of the assignment and the respect of deadlines
Validating the assignment report and submitting it to the Head of Region
Participating in the main debriefings of the assignment with the managers of the audited department
The Supervisor can be entrusted by the Head of Region or the Head of Country also with the responsibility to manage directly a group of employees

Profile required:

Studies & experience:

Master's degree in Economics or Finance:
At least 5 years of experience as a senior internal auditor or supervisor in banking sector

Language skills:

Fluency in English and Italian
French would be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

Very good knowledge of banking and financial market
Be familiar with any laws, regulations and professional standard
Rigor, reliability and tenacity
Analytical and synthesis skills
Very good oral and written communication skills
Assertiveness
Critical attitude and curiosity
Team spirit
