We are looking for a Demand Planner like you

Our client is a multinational pharma company, global leader in pain management.

Your role purposes

In this role the job holder will ensure a global end to end (E2E) Customer Collaboration Management for all operational customer facing topics including Demand Management (Forecasting & Budget follow-ups), Order Validation (Demand Control) and daily trouble-shooting for Third Party Customers.

The Junior Demand Planner is the integration point between the customer, the supply and commercial organizations.
Develop strong and robust forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. You will work with the Demand & Alliance Manager.

Your activities and responsibilities

Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons in order to improve the Forecast Accuracy and BIAS reviewing historical demand including market trends.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Commercial, Supply Planning, Customers and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in managing priority on existing items, new products introduction and products phaseout.
Central point of contact for all relevant demand planning, forecasting and allocation management related matters towards supply planning (e.g., Demand prioritization and alignment of potential supply interruptions).
Demand Control and Management (e.g., order check versus contractual agreement terms such as Patient Demand, Leadtime, MOQ,).
Close collaboration with CMB/PB Business Analyst, Export Order Management as well Business KAMs in order to prepare and optimize/standardize relevant data & KPI's into monthly Demand Reviews (IBP), external S&OP meetings and business reviews with customers.
Maintain supply prices in SAP according to contractual terms provided by the internal commercial organizations to control volume to value conversion.

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

Experience In Demand Planning and Forecasting or Supply Chain (1/2 years).
University Bachelors Degree in Management Engineering/Statistics/Economics or equivalent. Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification desirable.
Fluency both in Italian and English.
Strong ability with MS Excel and Microsoft Office, experience with SAP ECC and integrated advanced planning systems considered as beneficial.
Very good presentation, communication and diplomacy skills, customer orientation.
Excellent business analytics skills and striving for datadriven conclusions & decisions.
