Main purpose of the role:

For the Italian Market the Maintenance & Construction Specialist foresees the preventive and corrective maintenance of retail facilities in order to deliver the best customer experience in line with Pandora goals and to ensure a safe and healthy place for customers and colleagues in store


Key accountabilities:


  • Ensure fully operational and efficient stores from the day of opening
  • Participate during the project stage in order to contribute to the correct definition of the layout
  • Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in stores including analyzing stores' facility needs and developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs
  • Work in accordance with local regulation and Pandora standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues
  • Define budgets based on requirements and longterm plans;
  • Ensure longterm cost efficiency and quality of services by optimizing the split between scheduled and reactive activities
  • Secure the expected lifetime of stores
  • Oversees on maintenance budget and invoice handling
  • Planning and followup of all activities;
  • Carry out inspections in store to identify and resolve issues
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Coach, train and develop on best practices throughout the store teams to meet current and future business requirements
  • Ensure corporate policy and procedures are applied consistently throughout Pandora locations.
  • Maintain a specialized technical documentations.
  • Primary point of contact to ensure emergencies are managed and solved in a timely manner and minimize disruption to business also during weekends & holidays.
  • Perform site review of P.O.S. system, warranty repair & maintenance procedures, H.V.A.C. unit, lighting.
  • Participate to weekly recurring meetings and periodical reviews on Construction and Maintenance and support to construction projects
  • Cooperate effectively with all colleagues of Property & Network department as well as all other colleagues involved in others team
  • Be a promoter of a culture of safety, efficiency and sustainability
  • Monitor providers/suppliers for efficiency, timely response and cost effectiveness.

Professional qualifications & technical skills:


  • Approximately 3 years' experience in a multisite operations role, in an international retail/fast fashion/lifestyle/beauty organization.
  • Strong retail background and knowledge.
  • Civil engineering, building and maintenance operational knowledge.
  • Basic concepts in plumbing, air conditioning, electricity, telephony, low current and masonry, material resistance, etc.
  • Demonstrable project management expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented without losing the big picture.
