_Industrial Controller_.
The role, reporting to the Finance Director, will be responsible for maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk, enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accounting principles, international financial reporting standards and Corporate internal procedures.
Key duties and responsibilities for the role will include:Standard Financial Support
- Budgeting & Forecasting in alignment with the BU Management and VALVES Senior Leadership Team
- Submit all corporate & statutory reports and necessary actions on time in alignment with the corporate schedule
- Work on the preparation and presentation of Budget and Quarterly Business Reviews, presenting the financial performance to the Senior Leadership
- Lead special projects that support management decisionmaking, such as sales, margin & pricing analysis, cost containment, working capital improvement and cash flow analysis
- Communicate financial results and ensuring the teams understand the key cost drivers
- Optimize Working Capital Management
Business Partnering
- Analyze actual vs. plan results and summarize underlying drivers of variances as well as providing clear and succinct interpretation of results to management
- Develop action recommendations to improve the business performance (e.g. Growth, Pricing, Cost Efficiency, "prewarning" system in place)
- Provide meaningful daily reports and act as a main contributor to the daily management meeting
- Manage JDE support & organize daily local JDE management
- Completed studies in the field of Finance & Tax or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional Financial experience and continuous qualifications minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with 2 years in similar role in a European subsidiary of a US multinational, with direct FP&A management responsibility
- Internal and External audit liaison, including SOX
- Actual and broad knowledge in Finance in a public US based company
- Professional experience with the ERP System "JD Edwards" desirable, at least with other common ERP systems
- Fluent in English
- Strong business acumen with the ability to challenge all commercial and operational aspects
- Analytical thinking and strong understanding of business needs/requirements
- Good team player and good communication skills
- Problem solving oriented way of thinking, hands on mentality
- Works independently and selfcontained
- Willingness to develop themselves into larger responsibilities
