What's the Role?:


Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Logistic Assistant will support the wider team to ensure Zespri meet all European and Export Logistic obligations and execution of ZGS supply chain.

This is a six month fixed term contract.


Accountabilities include:

  • Contribute at the realization of European logistic targets i.e. fulfilment of Zespri Direct Deliveries orders in full, on time and in spec, respecting Zespri allocation plan
  • Coordinates day to day interfunctional resolution of logistic challenges, communicating proactively with fruit suppliers, trucking companies, freight forwarders and 3PLs
  • Support the team with the freight order creation, European trucks order creation

Who Are You?:


  • Between 13 years of work experience in Logistics/Operations
  • A solid working knowledge of Power Point, Excel, Word
  • Experience using SAP
  • Power BI and BI Tools competencies (advantageous)
  • Fluency in English and Italian both written and oral (with French or Greek an advantage)
