Role Overview

We are looking for:

Manage internal polymer processes development support in project mode;
Manage customers polymer formulations, with a clear focus on creating sustainable based & circular based additives and solvents solutions;
Scout & define the formulation levers to reach global interfaces performance thanks to physicochemical tests including rheology, particle size, stability of rheology, stability of particle size;
Support the scaleup till industrial scale reliability;
Propose & develop new applicability tests & protocols on purpose (till potential transfer at customers);
Leverage high throughput screening of additives & solvents through A&R capabilities (ex: in LOF Bordeaux);
Establish Minimum Viable Solutions to reach performance targets before reaching.

We count on you for:

Collaborate with R&I lab polymerization chemists on a worldwide basis;
Collaborate with the physicochemist experts from other R&I Centers of the Group on a worldwide basis;
Adhere to and improve safety culture in the workplace, in particular ensuring compliance with safety regulations, policies and procedures.

You will bring:

Master Degree or Ph.

D. in Physico-Chemistry, Colloidal Science, Material science;

Strong ability to understand key issues & purposes of chemical compounds & materials interfaces challenges;
Strong ability to work in crossfunctional and geographical multicultural environments on a worldwide basis;
Strong ability to define straightforward and scalable solutions;
Six Sigma & Design For Six Sigma methodologies and project management skills is a plus;
Additional background in organic chemistry and/or materials science is a plus;
Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken;
5 or more years of working experience
