Tecnico di laboratorio - Prove meccaniche to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Certification Italy Region Division.

Mission:

This role focuses on performing mechanical test to ensure quality.

Responsibilities:

PROJECT

Receive, identify and perform mechanical test on metallic materials.
Define the relevant activities to be performed on the incoming material
Define the planning of the activities according to the Laboratory Manager
Execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures. Analyze data form laboratory results Organize the activities according to safety instructions.
Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
Follow instructions and procedures according to the Quality System of the laboratory

QUALIFICATIONS

13 years related work experience
In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems and laboratory best practices.
Knowledge of safe work procedures and practices
Ability to follow established systems and procedures

HARD SKILLS

Be able to perform tensile test, bend test impact test on metallic material using properly equipment as tensile test machine and charpy equipment
Knowledge in physical properties of metallic materials,
Knowledge on ISO EN 17025 standard
Be able to work following quality procedures.
Preferred NDT level 2 qualification for RX, MT, PT, UT.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED in Materials Science
