JOB SUMMARY:


The Junior East District Manager is responsible to execute, prioritize and implement strategic initiatives in a specific area of the business (Italy, Germany, Czech Republic) working closely with the Senior DTC Regional Manager and the field team to drive best practices, operational excellence and to maximize growth and profitability.

He is responsible to propose, develop and implement key store projects and field competitions to drive business in his area, in alignment with the Senior DTC Regional Manager.

He liaises and cooperates with departments such as VM, Marketing, Property etc. to implement effective store processes and solutions that ensure organic store growth. He needs to manage team resources to balance internal workload and ensure projects are completed within scope.


He will be responsible to lead the DTC Store managers and Concession Supervisor to identify and implement development leverages and tools.

He will be responsible within this area for achieving Pre-determined sales results through good leadership of the sales teams, monitoring the sales of the stores/corners under his responsibility through a series of KPIS and ensuring they are aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Furthermore he needs to guarantee proper communication and flawless execution of Company Initiatives and Policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES/PROFITABILITY:
Partner with Finance, DTC stakeholders and Brand Merchandising Manager to forecast sales on Weekly / Monthly basis
Monitor sales profit & loss performance.
Drive KPIs and develop & implement corrective measures to improve, together with Senior DTC Regional Manager.
Achieve payroll goals whilst improving store productivity.


PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Ensure enforcement of all relevant HR policies/procedures.
Promote and encourage a positive culture and 'employee first' culture.
Partner with all Retail relevant departments / key functions
Partner with HR on personnel issues.
Develop agenda and content with Store managers for annual STM meetings and coordinate logistics, external/internal participants etc.


RETAIL OPERATIONS:
Maintain store opening process and make sure all Retail relevant departments (internal/external) are updated regularly.
Maintain store supply process and make sure to optimize continuously in close collaboration with B&M team.

Support achievement of payroll goals by developing and maintaining new tools to monitor and optimize payroll (Importante Azienda process), including bonus scheme, together with Senior DTC Regional Manager, HR and Finance.

Monitor store P&L regularly and share points of concern / opportunities with key DTC departments.

Manage day-to-day operations and ensure all company policies and procedures are communicated and executed and all internal KB databases are updated regularly.

Plan regular store visits across all DTC channels to monitor respective POS performances on all key KPIs
Cascade down all relevant departmental directives like Marketing, VM, LP, Merchandising, Logistics etc liaising with the DTC Coordinator.
Partner with Retail Marketing to make sure initiatives are focused on key stores / markets to drive business and monitor / report ROI together
Partner with Visual Merchandising to make sure VM standards are in line with store needs and are focused on driving sales
Partner with Property team on new openings / closings and communicate to Senior DTC Regional Manager, Merchandising & Marketing
Partner with e-com team to ensure brand initiatives are aligned
Support PSS with partner specific guidelines / procedures in specific markets.
Make sure to support quarterly field alignment with Senior DTC Regional Manager.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Any other duties as they arise to support DTC growth and profitability.


WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • A proven experience within Retail Operations with responsibility for managing multiple retail locations.
  • Minimum eight (8) years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Familiar with the challenges of managing a decentralized Importante Azienda with the ability to effectively motivate and manage remote staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education/Diploma.
  • High level of Italian and English (additional languages are a plus) and knowledge of Office.
