IT Functional Business Analyst:


Under MSC's governance and methodology guidelines - the IT Functional BA will play a key role in support of the MedLog organization which, with its global presence, operates across multiple logistics domains such as Truck and Rail Transportation, Inland infrastructures, Warehousing and Value-added solutions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, domain experts and IT teams to understand and document business processes, goals, and requirements across various business domains and geographical regions.
  • Conduct extensive research and market analysis, evaluating and recommending appropriate software solutions based on the identified needs, considering factors such as functionality, scalability, integration capabilities, security and total cost of ownership.
  • Translate functional and nonfunctional business requirements into clear technical specifications, use cases, and user stories, enabling effective communication with development and testing teams.
  • Work closely with project managers and development teams throughout the software development or adoption life cycle, ensuring prompt delivery of highquality solutions that precisely meet our business requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying opportunities for enhancements or troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with relevant teams to address them.
  • Provide inputs to standardize the various processes across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on progress of activities to all stakeholders involved.
  • Actively contribute to the development of training material, processes documentation and gap analysis, for product releases as well as for migrations and transitions.
  • Anticipate and address potential issues leveraging previous experience and strong problem solving skills.
  • Develop a mutually respectful working relationship with all staff to ensure a strong Team effort in all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a business analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, logistics operations, and crossfunctional dependencies.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and management.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with business analysis tools and project management software
  • Understanding of change management principles and experience in effectively managing stakeholder expectations and addressing resistance to change.
