Area Sales Manager Run W/M for Italy

  • The
    Area Sales Manager (ASM ) Run drives sales and promotes the brand to achieve significant sales targets for Salomon Road & Trail Run and to ensure an exceptional consumer experience at his / her assigned accounts and OMNI channel touchpoints.
  • The ASM builds partnerships with key specialty running retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both Salomon and the retailer.
  • The Area Sales Manager (ASM ) Run drives sales and promotes the brand to achieve significant sales targets for Salomon Road & Trail Run and to ensure an exceptional consumer experience at his / her assigned accounts and OMNI channel touchpoints.
  • The ASM builds partnerships with key specialty running retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both Salomon and the retailer.

Your main missions:


Sales & Distribution

  • Achieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory
  • Develop a seasonal "game plan" to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and priorities (increase footprint and distribution in Road Running)
  • Builds, presents and coordinates seasonal Joint Business/ Marketing plans with assigned Run Experts that deliver on strategic objectives of Salomon and maximizes consumer preference and brand experience.
  • Meet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution
  • Identify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunities
  • Take care of all the customer related topics sales and accounting aspects

Sell Thru & Consumer experience

  • Ensures a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge (Shop Pro Training) for store employees in Run Experts and selected category specialty doors for a best in class consumer experience.
  • Increase and maximize Salomon instore brand visibility and image thru defined product assortments and seasonal key story packages
  • Manages and executes local consumer activations / events / test runs in Run Expert Network as required.
  • Coordinates a seamless sellthru execution, utilizing internal resources (shopper, customer service, IMM)

Relationship

  • Develop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each account
  • Develop and maintain close cooperation with Salomon ASM / KAM community.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with local sports environment / community (clubs, resorts, event) in Cooperation with IMM Run

Reporting

  • Prepare and review customer performance report on seasonal basis
  • Analyze and report competitor distribution, instore presence and offer
  • Information to Market Manager of trade related information on an ongoing basis
  • Complete all reports and records required and submit on a timely basis
  • Shares best practice across sales and marketing team

Qualifications:

Education :High school level education minimum

Needed work experience:


  • At least 5 years of experience in sales with a
    strong Running / Footwear expertise**.
  • Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed

Foreign languages:


  • Italian : native.
  • English : professional (able to attend a call with your EMEA Team, to participate and to make presentation)

Computer skills:


  • Microsoft office basic skills in Excel
  • Sales Tools (sales portal, B2B, SFA), a plus
