Reporting to the North Europe Finance Manager, this position will be responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, business planning and accurate month-end close.


You will act as a Business Partner to the business owners and sales teams and use your financial input to drive decision making.

Your tasks

  • Responsible for the Revenue and/or Cost elements of the P&L and Balance sheet for the North Europe (Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium) markets
  • Ownership of the Monthend process, ensure accurate close of the books (e.g., revenue recognition by project, cost accruals,) with clear explanations of variances vs forecast
  • Lead the monthly Revenue and Cost forecasting process, including meetings with Sales and Operation to review and update the associated forecasts, providing challenge where appropriate
  • Monthly reporting by client, product and territory and cost category including variance analysis
  • Support Accounting on BS closure and BS accounts reconciliation and Treasury on cash management and forecast
  • Monitor the Working capital trends and drive efficiencies in the O2C and P2P processes
  • Support driving the annual budget process and cascading of budget into targets
  • Forecast/Budget upload to EPM tool (Tagetik)
  • Sales support on contract structuring to ensure revenue recognition is maximized
  • Support the process of FTE planning as basis for forecast and budget
  • New ERP & BI implementation support (D365 & PowerBi)
  • New M&A finance integration
Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, or other similar studies
  • 3 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities, such as business controller/ financial planning & analysis role
  • Understanding of financial and operational metrics
  • Month End/Quarter End Accounting Close experience
  • Strong Financial Modelling Skills
  • Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity
  • Flair for IT excellent user in Excel
  • Fluent in English
  • A good knowledge of D365, PowerBi and Tagetik will be a plus

  • Location: Milan (hybrid modality) or Smart Working Italy (with availability to business trips)
