We have a full-time position available for a Financial Analyst supporting our Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) customer in Naples, Italy.
This position will perform a wide array of administrative, record-keeping and updating, and financial reporting functions.Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist FDRMC in the area of tracking and reporting of financial data within FDRMC responsibility
- Monitor systems for failed/suspended transactions and abnormal balances, resolving identified items through correction of errors and interfacing with external activities (Grantors, Performing Activities, and Defense Financial and Accounting Service technicians) as required
- Maintenance of appropriate local logs and ledgers of transactions and account balances
- Review, file, and retrieve financial and payroll records
- Audit and review of personnel timecards and pay records
- Processing of vendor invoices and preparing documentation for certification of vendor payments
- Performs other financial and administrative duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics, or related, and at least 5 years of jobrelated experience, or equivalent
- Must have a working knowledge of Work Year and Personnel Cost (WYPC), Labor Accruals process, and experience in the reconciliation of labor accruals with SABRS financial data
- Must have a working knowledge and experience in Financial Management (FM) systems: CFMS, SMARTS, COST, SABRS, DCPS, FTS, and other future management systems to perform financial management duties
- Must be proficient in preparing budget exhibits, reports, and briefs as assigned by the supervisor
- Must have an active Secret US government clearance
