Position:


Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor development to achieve target seasonal timelines;
  • Participate in technical meetings with style, modelling and product management team;
  • Communicate with all teams involved in product development process to ensure steps are effectively executed to track and approve development during all sample stages: these include initial prototypes, line review, fit & wear test and finally, preproduction confirmation samples;
  • Ensure all prototypes and sample delivery dates confirmed are monitored and input into critical path, highlighting any potential problems that may affect sample delivery dates;
  • Review initial prototypes and conduct fit testing. Provide pattern corrections and revised specs during each phase of the development cycle;
  • Ensure both the technical superiority and product quality/integrity of all products;
  • Monitor quality control activities;
  • Create seasonal specifications and tech packs for all products and maintain records, style files, and sample library;
  • Make sure that all the documentation is correctly inserted into the system from the technical data sheets to the renderings and photos of the finished garments.

Profile:


  • University Degree;
  • 810 years of knitwear product development experience within the Fashion Industry;
  • Strong knowledge of modeling, garment construction, pattern cutting and fabric construction in world of knitwear;
  • Excellent knowledge of yarns;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • Excellent skills with MS Office (Excel, Power Point);
  • Time and process management abilities;
  • Ability to work successfully in a cross functional team setting, as well as independently;
  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality;
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Availability for business trips within the national territory.
