Tasks

3Brain is looking for a Scientific Communications Specialist for its Italian office.

You will work in the marketing department in tight collaboration with the FAS (Field Application Scientist) team and will play a vital role in effectively communicating the science behind our technology.

By following experimental and scientific activities at 3Brain and its partners and by communicating about that in writings, marketing materials, talks and seminars you will help position our products and research as leaders in the industry.

Main responsibilities:

Develop and convey complex scientific information in a clear, compelling, and jargonfree manner.
Craft scientifically accurate and engaging content for various channels, including social media, press releases, website, blogs and marketing materials.
Attend conferences, congress, and trade shows as oral speaker or poster presenter to showcase the value and impact of our scientific breakthroughs.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders to develop scientific topics of interest for 3Brain's community.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform communication strategies.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

Master/PhD degree in molecular/cell biology, biotechnologiey, life sciences or related field.
Full proficiency or mother tongue in English.
3+ years of laboratory experience in cell biology or related field.
Strong communication skills to connect with both scientist as well as life science stakeholder and public audience.
Proven experience in writing scientific papers.
Proven experience in scientific communication through social media (e.g., LinkedIn or Twitter).
Proficiency in data visualization and the ability to plot scientific data, display it in charts, graphs, and other visual formats to enhance understanding and engagement.
Highly motivated selfstarter and independent worker.

Additional Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a scientific journal editorial board
1+ years of laboratory experience on cellbased assays for compound screening in pharma industries.
Strong molecular and biochemical background.
Experience with either microelectrode array (MEA), calcium imaging or patchclamp recordings.
