The Marketing Manager Hill's Italy is responsible for identifying key business opportunities in the country based on a deep understanding and good assessment of the market, trade, retail environments and shopper trends, as well as Hill's performance vs. competitors and recommends plans to convert these opportunities into sales, share and BRMO (Brand Recommended Most Often) growth.
This role leads the Marketing team in translating and augmenting divisional/regional strategies, priorities and programs into powerful local Plans by a retail environment directed at consumers, shoppers and customers that drive sales, share and BRMO.
The role is also responsible to act as the Digital Guru and thought leader for the organization by working closely with consumer media agency to effectively plan insight based consumer journeys, deploy brand assets across a number of digital touch points (own, earned and paid) and measure campaign effectiveness to build strength into future campaigns, working closely cross functionally with sales, marketing and the regional online acceleration center to create consistent and optimized annual plans.
The role will also be responsible for delivering the 1P data strategy for the company, including acquisition and engagement via CRM. Creating an annual calendar roadmapping winning tactics to onboard new pet parents vs global targets and engage with existing contacts.
The role reports to the GM and is a member of the leadership team. The role manages a team of 3-4 people.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the Marketing activation for the country with specific focus on acquisition ensuring the execution of the plans

Lead and develops digital media plans for the country in collaboration with the EU Digital Team and local agencies to drive awareness, conversion and loyalty

Collaborate with CD team to build business plans with appropriate 6P initiatives and Promotional Grids across Retail Environments and brands, drive synergies and efficiencies where appropriate

Develop country specific equity, awareness, trial and loyalty building initiatives including digital activation in line with Global & Regional guidelines

Implement Pricing Strategy and drive margin improvement initiatives

Support the development of budget & LE's for volume and sales and prepare and monitor budget and LE's for A&P and Gross to Net in Italy, maximizing ROI of the consumer and trade budgets

Monitor market, share trends and competitive initiatives

Collaborate with the Professional Veterinary Affairs Team to reinforce the endorsement strategy and initiatives
Education/ Experience Requirements

Bachelor or Master's Degree
-
Minimum 8 years of experience in Consumer / Shopper Marketing and / or Customer Marketing in international environment

Minimum 2 yrs Experience in Digital marketing

Experience in the Pet or Pharma industry would be a plus

Experience in Customer Management would be a plus

Fluent in both Italian and English
