For a multinational
sporting goods retailer we are looking for a:

IT APPLICATION MANAGER, who will link with business representatives to capture long term strategies and desired outcomes and with the global / suppliers product team.
IT Expertise and
experiences in Business Analysis or Product Management on Value Chain area are a plus in order to contribute in Team to the digital transformation.

Activities:

50% dedicated to the digital platform, orchestrating business needs/ideas/targets with specialized suppliers who will design the best TO-BE solution and implement it technically. Considering the wide and international lands where we play, it's really important to have an internal technical referent, having an overall picture and knowledge over the solution during implementation and evolution.
50% focused on Digital instruments and data to boost Logistics Platforms performance, tuning what was inherited as a first solution, and identifying new ones, to sustain operational productivity and right stock availability at right time for E-Commerce selling to drive the product evolution accordingly.

Responsibilities:

Collect stakeholder's perspective and support them in focusing on needs and impacts they currently have, being part of the process in the strategy setting & value creation;

Stimulate/challenge suppliers to provide at least 2 different solutions, in order to make the decision circle take a conscious decision, avoiding reaction;

Cooperate with business and suppliers to move from AS-IS picture to the TO-BE solution implementation respecting technical and functional guidelines according to Decathlon Global strategy;

Prioritize a set of features and steer their delivery in strong coordination with the Global Team;
Communicate about release note;
Have a good understanding of the
architecture and tech stack of the products area;:
Full picture over a complex systems integration and interaction architecture to build and maintain.

Main challenges for 2023:

Contribute with an IT Mindset and Governance over complex solution and high value improvements on Value Chain digital products;
Be in contact with the United core team to know linked systems evolution and act accordingly to maintain local solutions uptodate and compliant;
Facilitate operations business needs elicitation and followup on them during implementation, then release and requestor validation;
Evaluate, monitor and support on functional tuning over the Data Forecasting model deployed for the B2C workload management and products availability;
Contribute to the building of the baselines for data capturing and normalization in order to be able then to manage and represent them.

Technical enviroment:

Project Management tools like Gladys;
Confluence suite (Jira, Wiki, etc) as toolkit for digital teams
Team Collaboration software (Miro).

REQUIREMENTS

Must have:
At least 4 years experience in
IT Product / Application Management;:
Skilled in Analysis, Synthesis and Thinking "out of the box";
Able to technically understand and challenge a digital product or environment;
Communicate efficiently to a wide and non technical audience the solution progress / health;

Previous experiences in Value Chain industries (Supply / Transportation / Logistics);:

Knowledge of
cross integration to communicate with ERPs & transactional systems
ETL, API & other interconnection methods;

English proficiency is mandatory in order to communicate and collaborate with international tech teams and other countries'
representatives.

Nice to have:
Degree in Engineering/Technical areas;
Able to offer visual representation of process and interactions between systems;
Experienced in data lake / data warehouse / data visualization
