  • The ECE Regional Compliance Officer is a senior leader of the company's Ethics & Compliance function reporting directly to the Global Head of Compliance, based in France.
  • This role is responsible for providing leadership and direct oversight of the Global Compliance Program for the ECE Sector, which includes around 20 affiliates and has a turnover of approximatively 750 millions.
  • Main responsibilities:
  • The ECE Regional Compliance Officer performs the following:
  • Serve on the Global Compliance leadership team, helping to set compliance policy, strategy, and direction to be applied internationally.
  • Contribute to key actions/communications initiated at Global level
  • Ensure the coordination of Local Compliance Officers and Compliance relays to develop the Group Compliance program. (Dotted line responsibility)
  • Provide guidance and support to affiliates on development, implementation, management, maintenance and interpretation of compliancerelated policies and procedures, country specific requirements and practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to affiliates on complex ethics and compliance issues, including policy interpretation and requirements, compliance risk assessment, trend analysis and best practice recommendations.
  • Direct and conduct periodic reviews and updates related to policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance to Global directives and external requirements.
  • Support affiliates in developing, updating, implementing and delivering comprehensive training programs on policies and procedures and also develops and implements training on other environmental risks.
  • Help implement, maintain and support continuous improvement of its monitoring program to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assess the existing compliance program at the individual country level and assists affiliates to identify and implement the means to enhance it, ensuring that all elements of an effective compliance program are being met in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Work with the senior leaders of the ECE sector to help establish the "right tone from the top" and "tone at the middle" to communicate the importance of ethical standards, and set clear communication from affiliates' management on ethical business and business accountability.
  • Strategically partner with the business (Commercial, Finance, Medical, Legal, HR Regulatory, Public Affairs) to help meet business objectives in a compliant manner.
  • Perform risk assessment, trend analysis, root cause analysis and best practice recommendations.
  • Help direct and oversee the affiliates Compliance Committee.
  • Maintain knowledge of all industry codes, monitors key developments and assesses the potential impact on the business.
  • Support its compliance organization in ECE sector, including participating in the recruitment of talented professionals for open positions manage the compliance organization to ensure it is performing at the highest level.
  • Profile:
  • Bachelor / master's degree in business, Risk Management, Finance or Legal
  • 6 years' experience minimum in a compliance position or in a legal position covering compliance topics
  • Expertise in the ECE Region and pharma sector is essential
  • Expertise in data protection preferred
  • Experience in Team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A handson, team player who can operate independently and in a fastpaced environment
  • English fluent (spoken and written)
