Healthcare Informatics Intern


Become a part of the Radiology Informatics team, within the wider Philips Health Systems business area.

Location: Genova (with an option for one role based in Rome - let us know if you are interested in that location)

Work Mode: Balanced hybrid (2 days from the office +3 days working remotely) way of working

Internship Duration: 6 months

Compensation: Remunerated extracurricular internship with additional allowance for those relocating to Genova


What You'll Do:


  • Gain handson experience with Philips HealthSuite Imaging Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) solutions.
  • Work on diverse assignments, including integrating products with client software, data migration, software monitoring, maintaining lab/testing environments, and conducting service data analysis.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service organizations to address technical challenges and have a chance to work with R&D teams to improve solutions.

To Succeed in this Internship:


  • Be a recent graduate in (Biomedical) Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (oral and written).
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows OS, including Windows Servers. Experience with storage platforms and networking is a plus.
  • Experience with programming languages, shell, and database scripting. Familiarity with Oracle DB is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
