HSE Specialist / Safety, Quality and Environmental (SQE) Manager

Avezzano, Abruzzo Region

€48,000 - €55,000 + company bonus

What you'll do in your role as Safety, Quality and Environment (SQE) Manager
Facilitate the maintenance and management of safety, quality and environment systems at our A-Gas Italia site, located in Avezzano.

Anticipate and understand changes in Italian HSE regulation and implement changes to the local site to ensure ongoing compliance.

Manage the ongoing implementation of A-Gas International Governance standards and safety frameworks at the local site.


Build a high-performance safety culture at the local site, ensuring safety expectations and aspirations are in-line with A-Gas International safety standards.

Develop and maintain ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 accreditation systems, implementing and managing changes where required.

What skills, knowledge and experience do you need?

  • Excellent English and Italian language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of Italian health, safety and environment regulations.
  • Understanding of environmental and operational permitting.
  • Understanding of SEVESO management or equivalent/similar.
  • Understanding or experience of DGSA and ADR requirement.
  • Experience of setting up and running a quality management system.
  • Knowledge of setting up and auditing Environmental and Safety Management system.
  • Computer literate and familiar with the Microsoft suite of products.
