JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES of the Global Sport Channel Strategy Oakley AFA (Apparel Footwear & Accessories) Manager:

  • Partner with global Sales, global Brand and global Product teams, to drive the brands strategies across the different product categories.
  • This role will act as liaison and advocate for the Sport Channel and the brands giving the right support to delivered against Sales Targets.
  • He/She will influence pricing architecture, be sure to incorporate in the collection specific product needs, key point of contact for Sales teams, develop messaging and market positioning around products and take part in presentations and events.
  • He/She will be the 'voice of our Sport Channel customers' within our organization having a closed look at their needs and markets trends.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:


PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

  • Constantly feedback the Global Product team on performance, opportunities and market needs.
  • Global Goggles Sport Channel samples bags input;
  • Collaborate with the local team on AFA forecast;
  • Price Architecture management and marginality for the WHS Sport Channel;
  • Be the key partner on WHS Collaborations, limited editions & capsule collections management;
  • Validate accounts SMU by countries and monitor performance and execution;
  • Assortment direction by tiers, by product categories and by accounts;
  • Local AFA collection integration into Global offer.

SALES MANAGEMENT

  • Execute the Go To Market Brands strategies and provide expertise and direction to the team;
  • Provide clear direction to the sales teams on the expectations and placement of the product and assortments;
  • Work cross functionally with counterparts in account teams, brand, merchants to ensure alignment;
  • Product Presentation to Global Regions and to Accounts;
  • Guarantee alignment on distribution and commercial priorities.

BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Partnering with our marketing teams in territory to delivery fully integrated GTM plans;
  • Track and monitor sales on different brands and product categories linked to instore execution and category sellthrough;
  • Collaborate on Global and Local key Trade Shows brief and set up.

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • 3/5 years of experience
  • Work experience in merchandising and buying fields
- excel e PowerPoint
- analytic skills

  • Nice to have Knowledge of sportwears
  • Nice to have knowledge of the wholesale channel
  • Strong skills in navigating the Company Matrix
  • Public Speaking and Presentation
