To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Buyer.

  • KEY TASKS:
  • Reviews requests, determines probable suppliers, solicits quotes, prepares primary documentation for contract preparation, maintains market data base with suppliers and prices.
  • Communicates with suppliers, asks quotations, benchmarks the suppliers, selects the best supplier, places the orders and chases them on time and in accordance with YEMEA and YBE processes and procedures.
  • Negotiates with vendors to obtain the best quality/price rate.
  • To attend internal and external training for improvement of purchasing qualifications and skills.
  • Manage the buying activity, organize the daily work and create a system of order.
  • Reduce purchase costs.
  • Ensure continuity of production.
  • To assist all departments in the delivery of all necessary equipment and machinery, equipment, materials and services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree - Master/Bachelor degree /Economics or related field/
Computer skills, knowledge of SRM
Good command of English /written and spoken/
Computer skills in MS Office Applications - especially in Excel
Ability to plan and organize tasks
Team player
Ability to act in emergency
Customer orientated
Flexible
