POC Account Executive Area North/Center Italy (Toscana Region). We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on commercial/sales expert to join our fast-growing and powerful team. This is a varied and dynamic role driving the growth in the field of Point of Care. Based in Italy, the position reports directly to the POC Sales Manager and will collaborate with POC Marketing team.


Your tasks and responsibilities:


Market Monitoring:
(approximately 20% of time):

  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends and competitors' activity in the assigned area to identify market opportunities in cooperation with the Sales Manager.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance in the assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales activities:
(approximately 60% of time):

  • Develop annual sales plan of the territory and consistently execute at or above expectation, both revenue and profitability
  • Achieve Sales & Commercial targets ensuring territory coverage of the assigned area.
  • Set and manage sales opportunities and quotations with CRM.
  • Must win target deals coordination and management.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate business partners/distributors in different customer segments when and where appropriate to achieve or exceed commercial goals/objectives
  • Establish relationships with KOL and other important stake holders; identify and capture insights from clinicians/physicians and national healthcare systems to drive product awareness and adoption establish champions for our leading brand/product
  • Ensure a constant presence on the accounts of his area to discover and generate all business opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including presales presentation and product demonstration.
  • Facilitate the delivery of the awarded business from the presales phase to the post sales phase
  • Implement specific action plans and marketing initiatives in coordination with the Sales Manager to achieve established sales targets.
  • Discuss the annual target providing relevant information about market trend and customers of the assigned area.
  • Targeting external customers (clinician, laboratorian, nurse, administrator, and allied health professional), including all marketing collateral, slide presentations etc.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Actively participate regional sales training & national sales meetings

Tender management:
(approximately 20% of time):

  • Evaluate tenders' documentation of the territory, in cooperation with Marketing, in order to define appropriated strategies to apply.
  • Based on the knowledge of the market trend and competitors' price in his area, the AE suggests and indicates price strategies for offers and tenders in the assigned territory.

Your qualifications and experience:

- _ Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or health sciences, nursing or related clinical field; Ph.
D. and post graduate studies a distinct advantage_
- _ Previous IVD/POC experience_
- _ Additional professional education skills desirable, notably highest, demonstratable, business acumen_
- _ Strong communication and presentation skills are of great importance to deliver a complete, confident message to a multicultural and diverse audience (employees/peers, physicians, nurses, C-suite/purchasing, and other medical professionals)_
- _ In depth knowledge of the Italian market and confident connection to relevant key opinion leaders is essential to be successful in this coveted role_
