The Customer Service Assistant main task is to satisfy the customer's needs, both in terms of products and services.

She/He represents the interface between administration and the customer, trying to eliminate obstacles. She/he processes orders and ensures they are correctly fulfilled in terms of quality and timing.

She/He supports the sales function (mainly Area Sales Managers) by providing customized offers. She/he is also in constant contact with production planning and logistics (shipping) to ensure adequate customer service.


What you will do:


  • Process orders and ensure they are fulfilled including the export activities
  • Take care for the advancement of urgent orders and for the definition of product shipping priorities
  • Provide support to the sales network for all issues relating to customer administration
  • Collaborate with the Credit Recovery functions in solving problems related to disputes with customers and compliance with the credit lines granted
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns
  • Update all contacts in the customer database system accurately
  • Generate reports for the management when required
  • Collaborate with the Compliance function for the regulations imposed by Dover in terms of business control and revenue recognition
  • Collaborate with all company functions (Marketing, Product & Trade Compliance, etc.) sending mailings to customers

What you need to have:


  • High school in Foreign Languages/accountancy &/or equivalent work experience in Customer Service
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles in corporations or complex multinational companies with multiple sites with diverse cultures
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Fluent in English and preferably in other additional foreign languages
  • Able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • No international travels needed. Open to international cultural environment
  • Able to build trust mainly with customers and the Sales team.
