Purpose of the role:
driving inventory productivity and efficiency across O&O stores, e-store, and outlets through superior replenishment principles.


Key accountabilities:


  • Initial Newness Model Stocks
o Ensure newness models are planned to optimize launch campaign and Trading Line Up Featured DV's / Heros and Friends o Ensure replenishment stock is secured to quickly respond to campagn trends

o Ensure distortions to Top Stores and turn Bottom Stores faster

o Optimize Campaign ST% based on life cyle ST% targets (70-80%)

  • Replenish Core Assortment
o Plan and oversee the inventory replenishment process. o Become expert at controlling Aptos parameters for store and product level sales curves, WOC targets, Mins & Max

o Gain full understanding of the business replenishment tools, ensuring allocation actions are aligned to weekly trading priorities. The continual review of allocation volumes to ensure they are aligned with plan and upcoming commercial activity.

o Identify performance trends, risks and opportunities. Work as part of the team to ensure stock levels are optimised. Work with Planning team to understand and align on areas of focus.

o Fully leverage Store Tiers to analyze stock turns and store inventory based on sales volume

o Sales curves by store montiored weekly to esnure roll ups to financials

  • Manage Wholesale orders to sell in targets set out in forecast, reconcile orders vs forecasts
  • Manage Allocation to WOC & ST% Targets by Store Tier
  • Analyse Global Store Tiers for Optimization
  • Ensure Online and Offline invenotry balance is secured to achive financial targets
o Develop clear peak trading period LC/DC inventory plans 2 months prior to peak sales (by channel) o Ensure stock is balanced across LC/DC to optimze each channel's peaks

o Build invenotories according to budgets and forecasts

o Escalate any risks

  • Ensure Aptos Replenishment module is fully implemented and utilized to optimize inventory KPI's
o Stable periods, Sales Curves, Min Max, and modeling

  • Escalate any inventory issues to Demand Planners, Planning Managers and Merchandisers proactively to secure sales upside (shortages) and mitiage downside risks (overages)
  • Key role in Weekly Trade Reviews communicating variances to WOC targets and actions to address over inventories, shortages, aged stock positions
  • Sits on Global Allocation CoP Committee

Professional qualifications & technical skills:


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • Strong technical merchandise allocator or merchant planner with international/global vertical retailing, omni experience
  • 35+ years of solid experience working within Merchandising and/or experience from retail, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG industry
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian Language
