Responsibilities

  • Analyses markets, business and procurement models
  • Manages the Shared Services spending and footprint in order to lead cost reduction and efficacy in services delivery and quality
  • Contributing to the decisionmaking process by logically presenting ideas to decision makers, being a strong logic thinker, using information to accurately make timely decisions.
  • Defines the purchasing strategy, the procurement standards and leads selection of suppliers
  • Working with the stakeholders to identify spend areas and organize buying processes with the goal of identifying cost savings
  • Supports the set up of specifications of the internal stakeholders and defines remuneration models for the tenders negotiations according to the specifications provided.
  • Identifies and manages new categories to be addressed and quickly acquiring knowledge in categories where there is limited internal knowledge
  • Supports the fostering of procurement culture implementation

Skills, Education and experience

  • Experience in Procurement with more than 10 years in Shared Services area or indirect spending (Pharma Industry is not a must)
  • Practice in tender organization and cost saving projects
  • Basic contracting knowledge, Accounting and Finance
  • Strong autonomy, analytical skills (tender management, cost analysis, scenario modelling) and stakeholder management
  • Good computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, etc), good SAP knowledge and good eProcurement platform knowledge as wll as knowledge General Procurement principles and procedures.
  • Italian and English speaking (fluent), willingness of travel if requested
  • Ability to work with crossfunctional team within the organization.
