We're looking for a dynamic, open-minded Business Development Manager to join Comarch's IoT Division in Italy. You would be part of a team constantly looking for new ideas, with a bias for action.

Constantly on the hunt for the latest tech, we implement IoT projects at the intersection of IT, cloud technologies, electronics and embedded systems.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Automation, Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field, or at least three years' work experience in sales or consulting/presales in software/IT
  • Fluent Italian (written and spoken)
  • Good level of English (written and spoken)
  • Immaculate presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Previous experience in sales will be considered a plus
  • Experience in IT, the industrial space or any areas of IoT, preferably with a focus on smart manufacturing (industry 4.0), utilities, asset tracking, warehouse management, smart metering
  • Proven interest in digital technology, the industrial space, and/or utilities
  • Ability to think out of the box, finding creative solutions to business problems
  • A commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering value to our customers

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage new IoT Italian accounts, including representing customers in internal meetings
  • Work on marketing inquiries and personal prospecting, generating new business opportunities with a focus on industry 4.0, asset tracking and smart metering solutions
  • Coordinate the sales cycle from lead qualification, to proposals, to contracts, working closely with the consulting, operations, legal, and management teams
  • Finding and pursuing new business development opportunities, with a view to meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Participate in Clevel meetings
  • Develop a good understanding of customer needs, Comarch products, and market requirements and trends
  • Act as a Comarch ambassador at trade shows, events, webinars and conferences
  • Bring new ideas to the table and suggest new ways to seek business development opportunities
