Job Description Summary:
At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.
We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
As Cash FP&A Finance Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting a business' operating-activities, investing-activities and financing activities for the purpose of establishing the overall (net) change in cash-flow for a defined period.
Essential responsibilities
- Supports forecast, closing and reporting process for Cash Flow and Working Capital, including key performance indicators
- Deals with monthly/quarterly reports & metrics and analyze cash flow performance (both direct & indirect method)
- Deals with cash flow/working capital planning cycles (Strategy, budget, forecasts) and analyzes cash performance against targets, explaining variances
- Prepares detailed analysis and backups in preparation for financial reviews
- Ensures accurate and timely monthly/quarterly reports & metrics and analyze Account Receivables past dues
- Liaises/works together with Finance and Operations (mainly Program Management and Supply Chain) to find actionable solutions for driving cash
- Contributes to drive process & reporting simplification and automation, supporting cash initiatives and projects
- Supports Cash Leader in adhoc data requests
Qualification/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferably Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or related field)
- Experience in Finance FP&A, preferably in Cash & Balance Sheet
- Lean/Simplification mindset
- Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances
- Ability to prioritize information for data analysis, technical experience and analytical thinking
- Very good verbal/written skills in English, fluent Italian
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
