Walks Inside Rome is a tour operator with over two decades of experience offering unique and unforgettable experiences with a focus on Rome, as well as Florence, Venice, and the Amalfi.

We seek a passionate, energetic, and experienced bookings and operations officer for a full-time position working on our bookings and operations.

What will your daily responsibilities be?

Corresponding with agents and clients in the management of bookings.
Responding to specific requests and tailoring tours and itineraries accordingly.
Liaising with guides, drivers, and other personnel in the organization of tours and services.
Leading the response to any major disruption including creating alternative itineraries, defining alternative options for clients.
Data entry (loading availability and updating product and making changes to our inhouse booking platform).
Monitoring product competitiveness in the marketplace.
Fluency in English and Italian. Another language would be advantageous.
At least 3 years prior experience in bookings and destination management
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft / Google Drive suite
Experience of booking platforms (training will be provided upon commencement).
Strong listening, relationship building, communication (both spoken and written), and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
Selfmotivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Wellorganized with good time management skills.
Positive "can do" attitude with a passion for travel and tourism.
