Job Summary:

2. Responsibilities

Monthly forecast cycle: actual analysis, bottomup forecast and stakeholder communication.
Monthend closing activities, such as: account reconciliation, journal entry preparation and management reporting.
Ensure financial procedures are being followed consistently.
Recommend and support implementation of process improvements.
Validate monthly product costing.
Contribute to capital investment projects.
Lead and improve the yearly budget process.
Ad hoc analysis requests from SC Finance Business Partners.
Act as a financial advisor to plant management providing relevant financial reports and analysis to assist business decision making
Establish and implement as required policies and procedures following accepted US GAAP, Local GAAP and company concepts and standards
Liaise with external authorities concerning the Company's interests such as Auditors

3. Job Requirements

Qualified / part qualified accountant with 3 years+ practical manufacturing finance experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
Provide leadership and management to a team of staff for successful departmental performance
Fluent, spoken and written, in English
Excellent Excel skills and good knowledge of full Office package
ERP system experience (preferably SAP)
Experience of working for a US owned business desirable
