Job Description:

As a Global Quality Program Manager, you will lead a team of people with the aim of developing, implementing, and maintaining our Enterprise Quality Management System (eQMS).


Your strategic vision will streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with internal and external quality standards, including ISO 9001.

This role is based in Muggio' (Italy), with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise Quality Management System (eQMS) to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards (ISO 9001, etc).
  • Design and maintain a comprehensive global quality dashboard, providing realtime insights into quality performance metrics
  • Plan, conduct, and lead global process audits to assess compliance with quality standards, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure audit findings are properly addressed and follow up on implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Quality Managers on Quality analytics and priority process and system improvements.
  • Manage or collaborate in the root cause analysis of Catastrophic and Major quality incidents as required
  • Coach, council, and mentor site level and business unit team, enabling quality system and goal improvements.
  • Facilitate and lead significant event corrective action processes to ensure that identified causes are addressed, and systems are globally improved to prevent recurrence (Inclusive of teaching and coaching sites on process).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams in problem solving and root cause identification efforts.
  • Develop and execute training programs to enhance the quality awareness and competence of employees
  • Develop improvement plans and guide actions to drive improvement in KPIs.
  • Support Global Supplier Quality and Development in Supplier Qualification and issue resolution.
  • Identify, Coordinate, and execute prioritized regional level improvement projects.
  • Identify opportunities for quality enhancement and initiate improvement projects across the global business.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive quality culture and best practices throughout the organization.

The Individual

  • Degree in Quality Engineering or related engineering field (Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Preferred).
  • Prior experience in Global Quality in a complex manufacturing setting is a musthave, with experience in leading a multicultural team.
  • Fluent in both English and Italian is essential.
  • Must have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of QMS Processes and ISO 9001 (ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 preferred but not required).
  • Certification as Internal Auditor or Lead Assessor preferred.
  • Data analytical ability with complex data sets to support concern prioritization.
  • Knowledge of complex global manufacturing and/or supply chain process.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in quality management tools, such as; Value Stream Mapping, capability studies, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, Kaizen, 5S, Statistical Analysis, Root Cause analysis tools, Corrective Action Systems, FMEA, IPPAP and Cause and Effect Diagrams.
  • Knowledge and experience in complex root cause analysis.
  • Proven positive track record leading customer interactions during problem resolution.
