PURPOSE OF JOB
You will ensure IKEA Retail Food in commercial calendar, develop commercial initiatives and food competence in the store. Act as a commercial business partner within the IKEA business in the store.

Lead and coach the restaurant in optimizing and develop the IKEA Retail Food business, considering the IKEA brand position, strategies, legal compliance and people and planet positive in all IKEA touchpoints as well as promoting IKEA as a great place to work.


WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience as a Leader of Food processes and people in a structured commercial environment
  • Good knowledge of Food business solutions, compliance standards and Food safety standards, local legislations, Consumer and Market research, Food Trends and Customer buying behaviour
  • Planning and organizational skills and ability to identify new business
  • Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines
  • Ability to deliver strong business results through people
  • Communication skills and ability to build trustful relationships
  • Ability to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure in a fastworking environment
  • Good ability to communicate in English and in Italian both writing and verbally

What you'll be doing day to day

  • Contribute to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and coworkers
  • Ensure the commercial agenda by securing that retail foundations and sales steering tools, food safety and Swedishness is in place
  • Lead and implement the commercial strategy and commercial calendar in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Lead the implementation of the stores IKEA Retail Food communication strategy
  • Develop and improve by seeking and acting upon customer feedback
  • Ensure that the customer restaurant is in shape as new, common store planning solutions and vitality packages are implemented
  • Secure that excellence in operations and high quality standards of customer experience in the customer and coworker restaurant and optimized levels of commerciality are achieved by cooperating effectively with the Kitchen Production Manager
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans
  • Ensures that the team has the correct competence regarding the IKEA Food range and the IKEA services and can share this with customers in a good way
  • Identify, recruit, introduce, and develop the many talents and to secure succession planning
  • Secure a lean, diverse and high performing team through building IKEA Food and IKEA competence and leadership and empowering coworkers to act on their own initiative
  • Be responsible for the implementation of the global and national people and sustainability strategies
