Opportunity:

As we continue to expand our operations, also through M&A, we are seeking a seasoned
International Business Controller to join our finance team in
Milan and play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across our international operations.

Your main Key Responsibilities will include:

1.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Lead the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the international business units.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identifying key trends and providing actionable insights to support strategic decisionmaking.

2.

Performance Reporting:

Ensure implementation, utilization, and maintenance of Group reporting systems to track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for various countries and service lines.
Review and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions both on P&L and Balance Sheet (Net Financial position) results.

3.

Risk Management:

Evaluate and mitigate financial risks associated with international business operations.
Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

4.

Financial Operations:

Oversee financial processes, including invoicing, collections, and payments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with crossfunctional Business teams and other Finance teams (accounting, financial, treasury) to optimize financial workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

5.

Strategic Planning:

Work closely with the executive team to contribute financial insights to the development and execution of the company's international growth strategy.
Provide financial support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

6.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Group external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification preferred;
Proven experience as a Business Controller in international service businesses, with a focus on both European and US markets;
Strong understanding of international accounting standards and regulations;
Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
Experience in interacting with local finance teams;
Proficiency in financial consolidation (Tagetik preferred) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
