Team Description

IQVIA is looking for an Sales Manager to join the Healthcare Team

Responsibilities

Client engagement and understanding of client business.

  • Maintains and further establishes strong professional relationships across the healthcare organization (payors, providers and government); with a particular focus on clinical and research, proactively but appropriately engages with client teams.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining deep client knowledge; understanding of their business priorities, organizational culture, product portfolio and pipeline, spend/budget priorities.
  • Identify and respond to customer needs to define potential opportunities for Clinical Technology and propose appropriate tailored solution in line with client needs.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations, the legislation that regulates relations with the public administration and public and private healthcare purchasing procedures.
  • Give corporate presentations to customers and prospects at site visits, marketing events and such venues. Topic includes strategic and tactical technical and business directions and technical product demonstrations.
  • Coordinating with all other departments to ensure a close, longterm relationship with clients.
  • Working closely with Project Managers, especially during the early stages of adoption and technically challenging projects, to ensure successful implementations.
  • Recommending technical architectures, model design, development patterns, migration strategies, upgrade procedures, and operational best practices
  • Supporting our clients during beta test programs or prelaunch activities
  • Supporting marketing activities at trade shows, conferences, seminars etc.
  • Writing competitive proposals, solution overviews, sales collateral, etc. to support presale efforts.

Requirements:


  • Extensive knowledge of Clinical IT solutions
  • 10+ years of experience of working in a Sales, business development or similar position within the IT Healthcare, life science or other related regulated industry
  • Proven track record of managing midlevel and highlevel contacts
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management skills
  • A developing record of customer contacts at the outsourcing, procurement and mid management level
  • Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business.
  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.
  • Ability to maintain demanding timelines.
  • Ability to influence others internally and externally.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
