Position Mission

  • Manage the purchasing of materials and/or services to meet the requirements issued by the internal stakeholders
    Responsibilities
  • Make requests for quotations and evaluate the match with the requirements issued;
  • Negotiate and issue orders, acquire related confirmations and manage any changes to contracts;
  • Supervise the operation of the purchasing strategies elaborated by the Procurement Department;
  • Contribute to the implementation of supplier park management strategies and the consequent market research with the aim of optimizing and rationalizing choices for the benefit of product competitiveness and quality;
  • Support the PM team so that the fulfillment of contracts/orders takes place in compliance with the times and company procedures;
  • Define purchasing policies and payment conditions towards suppliers in order to optimize procurement costs and company cashout.

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics or scientific ones
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Preferably basic knowledge of written and spoken German
  • Ability to identify customer needs
  • Experience of minimum 2 years gained in similar roles in manufacturing companies
