Vivienne Westwood, iconic English brand forerunner of punk fashion, has been offering a fiercely creative design since 1971, directly inspired by the style and history of London fashion.

The brand has also been able to evolve over the years and it currently offers a design whose inspiration is rooted directly in Dame Vivienne Westwood's and Andreas Kronthaler's commitment for the environment and climate change.


Vivienne Westwood Italy is recruiting an enthusiastic and proactive resource to join the Procurement Department/R&D team at our Milan Office, supporting specifically the R&D team in managing orders, stock and operations for different categories (fabric, leather, packaging and trims).


Tasks and Responsibilities:

- responsible for any shipments according to the stage of the research, prototyping and sampling in order to respect the deadlines and receive feedbacks from the Design Team in time when needed (creating labels, proforma, etc.);
- checking leftovers and materials stock availability for prototyping/sampling requests, as well as production launches and special projects;
- supporting with the operational activities related to the outbound of the materials from our warehouse to the manufacturers for sampling and production;
- supporting in chasing suppliers to update missing information in our "supplier forms" and collecting internal sustainability documentations and other required certifications;
- assisting the team with archiving materials;
- liaising with suppliers for seasonal stock reports;
- collecting material references from shoemakers and any leftovers from suppliers at the end of production;
- giving assistance in coding when needed.


Criteria:


  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Engineering (with interest into the fashion industry) or Fashion/Design school but with strong operational management attitude;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems and Office package (proficient in Excel, prior knowledge of SAP is a plus);
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a changing environment.
