About Our Client:

Manufacturer in the machinery industry overseen by a Private Equity firm.

Responsibilities:

Formulate the yearly/multi-year blueprint for production, operational, and commercial undertakings, monitor achieved outcomes, generate periodic reports on performance, and strategize future developmental approaches.

This includes coordinating and enhancing operational and project activities for heightened effectiveness and functionality within the business.

Recognize and analyze challenging scenarios in operational and industrial management (procurement, storage, production management), devise solutions for company growth, avert backlog scenarios.

Govern and enhance the supply chain through initiatives for process improvement in production and optimization of all inbound and outbound logistics operations.

Spearhead the post-M&A procedure to rationalize the structure and construct an integrated supply chain and commercial strategy.

Supervise activities to ensure goal attainment adheres to company policies, guidelines, as well as corporate strategy and mission.

Specify investment, development, and management plans for submission to the Board of Directors (BoD), concluding the restructuring process and retaining responsibility for annual budgeting and achieving anticipated outcomes, with the goal of escalating EBITDA.

Fine-tune the organizational structure for managerial effectiveness and efficiency to ensure company objective attainment.

Cultivate robust and daily relations with key stakeholders, becoming the BoD's focal point.

Head the operations function in establishing objectives for maximizing organizational value through new technologies and skills, incorporating practices from a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) approach, and ensuring ongoing enhancement of internal operational processes.

Ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines in alignment with company objectives, while sustaining flexibility in responding to customer requests.

The Successful Applicant:

Requirements:

Master's degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications.

Strong experience in industrial and financial turnarounds. Crisis management and structure optimization skills are crucial.

Profound skills and extensive experience in operations management, production, and supply chain, with a consistent and coherent professional history acquired in production environments, preferably with a robust foundation in mechanical engineering and assembly.

In-depth comprehension of industrial processes, preferably possessing good knowledge of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Lean approaches gained in bespoke manufacturing within the mechanical sector.

Leadership and problem-solving prowess coupled with charisma, authority, and a strong ability and inclination to motivate team members.

Fluent proficiency in the Italian and English languages.
