Our Sales and Marketing organization is currently on an exciting transformation journey, including new ways of working and increased digitalization - all in order to take our marketing to new levels.

To lead this work, we're now looking for a Global Director of Marketing - someone who sees marketing as a true sales enabler and wants to make a mark in a new team with new processes.

This is a great opportunity to shape both the team and vision, while implementing common principles and executing new strategies in our global markets

About your mission


Leading the marketing function at Dormer Pramet, you support our overall company vision and objective, as well as our brand promise, to be "Simply Reliable".

You'll be joining us in a time of change, and with structure and an understanding of the natural relationship between marketing and sales, you implement new strategies and common ways of working across our markets.

You manage a highly competent team of marketing managers and professionals, and a global network of stakeholders throughout the company.

You play a vital role in creating employee engagement and in attracting new talents to the company.

Since we're also on a journey of mergers and acquisitions, you're also part of the pre-acquisition process and drive the integration of new companies joining the group from a marketing perspective.


The role requires the ability to combine strategy formulation with practical execution to ensure that the overall corporate strategy is delivered in the marketing area, and you're responsible for setting the budget for our central marketing.

As Dormer Pramet is a global company, you work with colleagues and stakeholders in many different countries.


You report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and are part of the Dormer Pramet Sales and Marketing management team, where you secure the strategic role of the Marketing function.

The location for this position is globally flexible, with a preference for Europe, and some occasional travel is included.

About you

You're a structured leader who acts with transparency and sees empowerment as a foundation for your leadership. Diversity and inclusion is a natural part of your way of acting and working.

You have an ability to see the big picture, set ambitious objectives and thoroughly drive the needed activities to reach those objectives.

It comes naturally to you to work with multiple stakeholders with a diverse set of needs, as well as to work in a multi-cultural environment.

We're looking for someone with a master's degree in marketing, or equivalent experience. You have at least 5 years' experience of leading a marketing organization in an international business-to-business setting. You should bring experience from dealing both with direct end users and with larger distribution channels. Your ability to speak and write in English is at a high level.
