What does the role involve?:

As
finance controller , you'll be part of our finance team in Milan.

Day to day, you'll be asked to be the finance business partner of Sales, driving profitability improvement, working closely with all other departments (HR, Pricing, Marketing) to set Sales for success.

You will oversee a specific business unit, owning the rolling forecasts and the performance monitoring process.
You'll report to the Italy Head of Controlling being part of the bigger Southern Europe Controlling and Reporting team.

Your main task as a Finance Controller will be:

  • Actively identifies improvement opportunities
  • Participating to the target setting process for MBO of Sales Force and Area Sales Manager
  • Participating in adhoc finance specific projects/requests
  • OPEX steering and Rolling Forecast Process
  • Business partner for Area Sales Manager, Account Managers, Stores in steering Net Sales and Margin targets
  • Cooperating with Marketing Department in order to simulate Margin and Net Sales impact of promo, gadgets and incentives to sales force

What you need is:


  • Degree in Economics/ Business Administration/ Finance and Accounting
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in related roles in contact with Sales/Marketing
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and familiarity with SAP
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Data driven and analytical
  • Deep understanding of the business and processes
  • Results oriented and able to motivate team members
  • Ability to drive and influence different teams to work together and achieve the goals
  • Capable of functioning in deadline intense environment
  • High motivation level, drive and energy; entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
