Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:


This position is an integral part of the Signage and Wayfinding (SIG) functional area and will support the team focusing on the production of projects and other documentation for the Wayfinding signage programme of different venues in line with the agreed milestones, reporting to the Head of Signage and Wayfinding.


In particular, he/she will:
- coordinate and develop Signage and Wayfinding venue projects and other related documentation for different competition and/or non-competition venues;
- collaborate on the drafting of the budget and its ongoing monitoring and control;
- be able to produce designs of Signage plan related documents through the appropriate software;
- develop and report on design work and delivery of Signage projects across a cluster of venues;
- support and manage the ongoing relationships with service providers to ensure efficient and effective delivery;
- collect the needs from all FAs and all stakeholders - internals and externals;
- define the quantities of Signage items needed for each venue;
- to know the budget implications of any proposed design solutions and be aware of budget constraints for the design and scoping process;
- ensure a high standard of relationship with all internal functions, stakeholders and contractors and the like;
- share ideas and information with the team and contribute to the team environment;
- be aware and comply with the Corporation's health and safety policies, standard practices, and programs;
- be available for travelling to Milano Cortina 2026 venues.


Requirements:


  • Qualification in Architecture, Design;
- excellent language skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage;

  • ITexperienced, professional use of CAD/BIM software, professional use of graphic design software, knowledge of usual office software
- understanding of design standards at different stages and in view of delivery and site management;
- experience in the major sport events is a plus;
- site experience with a support role in a construction / engineering environment is a plus;
- experience in previous large-scale projects, Organizing Committees or Multi Sport / Cultural Events
