BorgWarner's Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business ("PHINIA") is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023


PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.


As well as being an industry leader in combustion technologies and chassis systems PHINIA will also be driving the transition to green fuels and hydrogen combustion by developing effective solutions to decarbonize the future of transportation.

Job purpose

  • Execute and adapt overall gotomarket strategy within region

  • Implement positioning & messaging for brand, products, solutions & value proposition

  • Define & implement price position
Key role and responsibilities

Market analysis

  • Understand the competitive and market landscape be the expert on our competition and how they are positioned
  • Understand all key market and channel trends and define appropriate penetration strategies to reach end user ensuring highquality customer journey
  • Customer insight and research
- be the expert on the customer: who they are, how they buy, key buying criteria and the Delphi Technologies share of wallet

Demand Creation

  • Execute and adapt customercentric gotomarket strategy within region
  • Define and execute action plan to realise sales pipeline opportunities
  • Execute market launches of new products, ensuring customer shelfspace wins
  • Understand wallet size & share to identify growth opportunities for key customers
  • Define and own customer loyalty plans and actions to drive sales growth
  • Plan and implement appropriate marketing tactics through the product lifecycle
Category communications

  • Lead implementation of category communication & content marketing plans in region
  • Create regionspecific materials & content specific to increase customer engagement
  • Develop promotional plan delivering increased brand awareness & market share growth
  • Translate & adapt central communications for maximum effectiveness within region
  • Support shows / customer events to build brand awareness and customer intimacy
Financial and market-share growth

  • Implementation of the tactics to achieve revenue and profitability results and market share growth for the category
  • Understand key financial & economic indicators to drive regional growth
  • Define and own the region price position based on market and financial indicators & EMEA price policy
  • Lead regional annual price review, NTR pricing & price adjustments
  • Implement appropriate sales enablement activities to drive demand, adoption, shareofwallet gain, and overall success
Demand Planning

  • Support EMEA demand forecasting process through collection, analysis and communication of local market data
Continuous improvement

  • Be the category Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing sales enabling training and knowledge transfer to customerfacing teams
  • Be a marketing leader for process development and implementation
