    Assistant Store Manager at Lidl

    Join a 2-year training and work program where you will develop all the necessary skills to become an Assistant Store Manager at Lidl stores.

    • Start in October or November at one of the Lidl stores in the province of Lecce (Nardò, Parabita, Ruffano, Ugento)
    • Throughout the two-year program, you will have theoretical training for approximately 1 week per month at the Higher Technical Institute in Bari
    • For 3 weeks per month, you will work and receive on-the-job training at the Lidl store
    • At the Institute, you will focus on subjects related to economics and marketing, with insights into management, logistics, and retail
    • You will be involved in the daily operations of Lidl stores, learning about the dynamics of the company's core business. You will collaborate with the Store Manager for optimal commercial and financial management and be the reference point for colleagues and customers
    • Upon successfully completing the program, you will receive a double certification: the ITS Assistant Store Manager Diploma (level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework) and the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce Certificate for the German profile, validating the practical professional skills acquired on the job with international value in the job market

    Profile we are looking for

    • You are the right fit if:
    • You are between 18 and 29 years old
    • You hold a high school diploma or a professional diploma
    • You are willing to undergo theoretical training at an ITS (approximately 1 week per month)
    • You are motivated to gain professional skills and work experience in a solid and structured company, with a young, dynamic, and stimulating work environment
    • You have achieved English proficiency at A2/B1 level
    • You consider yourself flexible, proactive, and enterprising
    • You enjoy teamwork
    • You are enthusiastic about taking on responsibilities and solving problems promptly and pragmatically

    Our offering

    • Fully funded training program, including possible accommodation near the relevant ITS during the two years
    • Regular monthly salary and access to benefits provided to Lidl employees
    • Full-time position starting in October or November with a Training and Research High Apprenticeship contract, involving training phases at an ITS and practical work activities at Lidl stores
    • You will be supported by an educational tutor at the ITS and a company tutor at Lidl throughout the program
    • At the end of the two years, your career will be ready to take off: you can continue your professional journey at Lidl Italia, with long-term opportunities for career advancement
    • Upon passing the final exams, you will receive two certifications: the ITS Diploma (ministerial tertiary level qualification) and the Professional Skills Certification from the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce
