Job Title:
Plant Analyst


Summary:


The Plant Analyst is responsible to ensure compliance with national regulation with respect to external entities as part of the extended finance team supporting the local manufacturing operations.

Contributes to the proper management of Fixed Assets and monthly accounting closing activities of Termoli plant. Also work closely with different site stakeholders to ensure data are timely analyzed and understood.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure compliance with national regulation with respect to external entities:
  • Determine the correct amount payable for CONAI (packaging disposal fees).

Support for monthly US GAAP closing activities by reporting to the Site Operation Finance Leader, coordinating the required inputs from the Ops team and managing the booking of necessary manufacturing accruals within specific corporate deadlines.

- Support for the proper management of Fixed Assets by the share service team, interfacing with the Engineering department and other functions involved in the process:

  • Manage the entry of Appropriation Request received from Capital Investment and Engineering dept. into the system.
  • Ensure Assets are correctly recorded into the system submitting necessary documentation to the shared service based on inputs received from the Capital Investment and Engineering dept.
  • Ensure the accuracy of CAPEX expense and capitalize engineering costs based on inputs from Capital Investment and Engineering department.
  • Verify compliance with the procedures for the dismantling and disposal of fixed assets and submit necessary information to the Shared Service Team to issue electronic invoices with regards to the sale of scrapped materials, asset retirements and other ancillary sales.
  • Verify compliance with the company policy on Idle Assets interfacing with the Maintenance Manager and Capital Investment and Engineering dept.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation reports of Assets Under Constructions.
  • Support fixed assets physical count, in compliance with corporate policy.
  • Collaborate with local Financial Controller in the completion of the statutory financial and tax returns for all the matters related to fixed assets and capital investment.
  • Provide contribute to the reporting activities related to national grants and tax credits on investments.
  • Additional responsibilities:
  • Participate in annual inventory activities for raw materials and spare parts.
  • Engage with other departments in accounting and administrative issues that may arise.
  • Support the Audit, Financial and Fiscal activities, for the areas of its competence

Qualifications:
The following are

_required _for the role- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or High School Diploma with at least 10 years of qualified work experience within MFG context.- Proficient in Excel.- Motivation to work and learn independently without close supervision.- Excellent verbal communication skills and interest in working with cross functional teams (Engineering, Controlling, Plant Analyst).
