Position Summary:

We are looking for a Plant Quality Control & Process Engineer in our Luserna San Giovanni (TO) plant.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coordinate the plant process quality team (incoming inspection, metrology, laboratory, process control).
  • Manage measuring tools certification and calibration activities.
  • Manage and trace non quality costs related to suppliers and internal scrap.
  • Lead internal suppliers qualification process and support the team with external ones.
  • Lead process audits, product audits and LPA.
  • Maintain quality system activities as per IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Support the team during PPAP process.
  • Support the team during supplier root cause analysis process.
  • Support the industrialization team during line controls definition

Job Position Requirements:


Education:
bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.


Professional background

  • 5 years of experience in the role.
Tier1 automotive supplier experience preferred.


Hard Skills:


  • Proficient in mechanical design, specification reading, measurements, capability studies, GRR studies, SPC, and GD&T.
  • Proficient in CMM and other metrological measuring tools (geometrical and non geometrical).
  • Proficient in automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
  • Good knowledge of IATF16949 and Customer Specific requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Automotive manufacturing, assembly and testing processes
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluent English (both spoken and written).

Considered as a plus:
IATF 16949/VDA6.3 Auditor Certification
