EHS SPECIALIST

Role Summary

The EHS Specialist will act as a member of the EHS Team in the Rivalta Plant and be assigned area and/or process.

The mission will be to develop, plan and execute the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.

Responsibilities:

Support the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectations.
Implement / modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance.
Maintain an indepth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations.
Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems.
Develop and provide education programs related to specific disciplines.
Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution.
Ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safety.

Requirements:

Degree in Environmental Engineering
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation 81/2008) and EHS international standards (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
Fluent in Italian and English language
