    What context will you be part of?

    The IT Architect role will be part of the Digital Engineering area of EY Consulting, composed of highly qualified professionals located in Milan, Rome, Bari, and Cagliari. The team works for clients in various Industries where different types of projects are tackled.

    Role and Activities Description

    • Architect & Design solutions for the cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure) that are optimal, secure, efficient, scalable, resilient, and reliable simultaneously.
    • Design the infrastructure architecture and integration of ICT systems to ensure a unified vision among strategy, processes, and IT assets.
    • Consult with clients to design or improve their transformation journey to the Cloud with a focus on data context and security.
    • Design digital solutions and platforms with Agile technologies aligning business strategies with the most advanced technologies.

    Required Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in implementing cloud model architectures (Private, Hybrid, and Public), software development, and/or IT Infrastructure design.
    • 2 years of experience in teams on ICT projects in hardware infrastructure, software, networks, and Data Centers.
    • Experience in implementing architectures based on microservices and event-driven systems.
    • Experience in defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable services.
    • Excellent knowledge of infrastructure engineering and configuration management tools.
    • Knowledge of at least one major cloud platform.
    • Experience in coordinating development teams.
    • Knowledge of Message Broker technologies, API Gateways, and Microservices platforms.
    • Ability to learn quickly and work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a multicultural environment collaboratively, virtually, and independently.
    • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, effectively managing multiple priorities.
    • Excellent knowledge of Italian and English languages.
    • Preference for skills in Agile Methodology, Resilience and Security themes, and Application and Infrastructure transformation patterns.
